For more than a century, horse racing has captured the spirit of competition and the hearts of racing enthusiasts. What began with the thunder of hooves in the early 1800s has now evolved into a modern, regulated sport that continues to inspire and unite generations.

Today, MRA proudly stands as the governing body of horse racing in Malaysia, preserving the honour of the sport by ensuring every race reflects integrity, professionalism, and fairness. While the Singapore Turf Club (SNTC) and Penang Turf Club (PNTC) have since ceased operations in 2024 and 2025 respectively, the spirit of the sport continues to thrive through Malaysia’s two associated clubs, namely the Perak Turf Club (PRTC) and the Selangor Turf Club (SLTC).
